Meet Shafiq Jadavji

Shafiq Jadavji has proudly called Johns Creek home for the past 14 years. In that time, he has become a trusted and engaged leader, known for building bridges across diverse communities and driving meaningful change. He is a graduate of the Leadership Johns Creek program and has served on key local boards, including the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, the Recreation and Parks Advisory Committee, The Art Center, and the Public Safety Foundation. He also founded the Johns Creek Cricket Association, establishing the popular sport as a growing part of the city's diverse identity and boosting local revenue. His years of involvement have given him a clear understanding of the community’s needs, values, and aspirations.

Professionally, Shafiq runs his own financial advisory practice, 60 Financial. With a Master’s in Business Administration from New York University and 30+ years of experience in the financial sector, he possesses the knowledge and experience to handle the city’s budget with responsibility and care. As a City Council member, Shafiq will bring inspiring vision and practical solutions to move Johns Creek forward.

Shafiq’s most cherished role is that of father to two bright and kind daughters, Simran and Inaara. They motivate him and fuel his passion for shaping the next generation of community leaders.

Vision

Shafiq believes Johns Creek residents deserve a leader in "Post 3" who is going to bring knowledge, experience, and honor to that post. He is passionate about our city and believes we have a lot more to accomplish in the coming years.

Shafiq envisions a Johns Creek that expands opportunities for growing businesses and nonprofits, invests in the arts and recreation, prioritizes future development, and enhances quality of life so that families can thrive.
